Champaign, Illinois

50%

reduction in energy use over a traditional building

The new Business Instructional Facility at the University of Illinois was designed in association with Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects. It accommodates a variety of learning space, including:

  • state-of-the-art classrooms
  • career development and academic counseling centers
  • student program offices
  • a recruitment suits
  • a 300-seat auditorium space for students to meet and study

The design also includes two, three-story bar buildings - an "L-shaped" graduate/MBA wing, and an undergraduate/accountancy wing - all arranged around a three-story atrium and courtyard.
