Fairfield Civic Center Library in Solano County offers services and resources to residents of all ages throughout the region. To create more efficient and flexible tutoring and staff workspaces, we redesigned the interior of the 4,000-square-foot Literacy Center. The reimagined tutoring area includes four new study pods that provide audio privacy with ample glazing that allows staff to monitor the space. The pods also create a distinct sense of space and identity within the building. We brought splashes of color throughout to engage staff and community with a lively space to learn and study.
