NYC Transit Environmental On-Call Contract

Our work included air quality consulting at the Mother Clara Hale Bus Depot in Manhattan. We were responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of the green roof in capturing particulate emissions from bus depot operations and other ambient sources.

In addition to our work for Mother Clara Hale Bus Depot’s green roof, we are evaluating the depot’s air emissions and air permit compliance.

We assess potential impacts of proposed projects on land use, socioeconomics, community facilities, natural resources, historic properties, archaeological resources, utilities, hazardous materials, air quality, noise, vibration, and transportation.

We hold a $7 million contract to provide environmental consulting services on a task order basis in support of the New York City Transit Authority’s Capital Program. The contract covers a broad range of services:

Environmental health and safety services
Due diligence
Environmental impact analysis pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA)
Resource agency permitting
Air quality emissions compliance
Soil and groundwater contamination investigation and remediation
Cultural resources studies and compliance
Traffic and parking analyses
Wetlands, ecological, and endangered species studies and mitigation
Noise and vibration analyses; geotechnical engineering
Water resources engineering
Climate adaptation
