Working with the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) on the redesign of the I-295/I-76/Rt. 42 Direct Connection Interchange in Camden County, New Jersey, our team faced complex challenges including potential impacts to fragile wetlands and a sensitive stream, valuable cultural resources, and the community. NJDOT helped develop a streamlined program to move the project through several permits and regulatory reviews. The coordination between the agencies saved time and money and resulted in regulators applauding the program and timely federal approvals.
