Dewberry has announced the promotion of nearly 60 employees nationwide, including three staff members within the firm’s Mount Laurel and Parsippany, New Jersey, offices. The promotions coincide with Dewberry’s ongoing expansion of engineering and consulting services in the Northeast, where the firm has practiced for more than 60 years.

In Dewberry’s Mount Laurel and Parsippany offices, promotions include:

  • Lisa Peterson, PE, PLS, CME, has been promoted to associate vice president and serves as the business unit manager in Mount Laurel. She is a dual professional engineer and professional land surveyor in New Jersey, with more than 18 years of experience. Peterson earned her first bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology (2002) and her second in survey engineering technology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (2010). She is a member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS), American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors.
  • Steven Benosky, PE, has been promoted to senior associate. Benosky is the water/wastewater department manager in the Parsippany office. He has more than 20 years of experience in evaluation, design, and permitting of potable water facilities, including water mains, pump stations, water tanks, and treatment facilities. Benosky earned a bachelor’s in civil engineering from Clarkson University (1995) and is a member of the Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO) and American Water Works Association (AWWA).
  • Walter Bronson Jr., PE, CME, LEED AP, has been promoted to associate in the Mount Laurel office and is the land development department manager. Bronson earned his bachelor’s in civil engineering from Pennsylvania State University (1985). He is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP) and the New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers (NJSME).
