Dewberry has announced the promotion of nearly 60 employees nationwide, including two staff members in the firm’s Bloomfield, New Jersey office. The promotions coincide with Dewberry’s ongoing expansion of engineering and consulting services in the Northeast region, where the firm has practiced for more than 60 years.

  • Ray Dominguez, PE, has been promoted to senior associate, and is the manager of Bloomfield’s traffic engineering department. He is an expert in the field of transportation planning, traffic engineering, and design for both public- and private-sector clients. His experience includes conducting traffic impact studies, master planning, feasibility studies, transit planning, pedestrian circulation, and data analysis for projects in the Northeast and nationwide. Dominguez earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Villanova University (2002) and is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, where he serves on the student outreach committee.
  • John Fusella, PE, CME, has been promoted to senior associate, and is the assistant department manager of the highway engineering department in the Bloomfield office. Fusella has extensive experience preparing contract documents for highway- and roadway-related transportation projects that include utility engineering, environmental documents, geometric design, drainage design, right-of-way plans, traffic control, and cost estimates and specifications. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Delaware (1986).
