The firm will provide environmental studies, preliminary engineering, final design services, and lead a public involvement program to identify stakeholder goals for the improvements. Work will include developing design schedules for right-of-way acquisition, utility clearance, and permit approvals. Dewberry’s design will increase the safety of the intersection, meet the needs of anticipated commercial and residential growth, and facilitate future plans to improve mobility and reduce congestion in the region. Designs will minimize impacts on surrounding property owners and agricultural resources. Construction is anticipated to begin in mid-2024.

“We look forward to assisting PennDOT District 8-0 in support of the community’s vision for growth,” says Dewberry project manager Mark Geiser, PE.
