Our firm created a debris modeling tool in Power BI using FEMA's debris formulas and damage assessment results. Users can dynamically adjust the variables to predict debris amounts. The results are aggregated and used to estimate necessary resources for debris removal and associated costs. These improved debris models can help communities recover faster by giving emergency managers information to make informed decisions faster.
