In this article for Correctional News, Senior Project Manager Sue Akiyama, Senior Principal Jim Beight, and Senior Project Manager Luis Pitarque describe our work to provide full architecture/engineering services for two new courtrooms set on the sixth floor of the Edmund D. Edelman Children’s Courthouse in Los Angeles. The design techniques minimize adversarial feelings, alleviate stressors, and add additional technology features to aid with juvenile cases.
