Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced that Megan Sattur has been awarded the Paul Fenerty Technician of the Year Award from the New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors (NJSPLS). Sattur received the award during NJSPLS’s SurvCon 2026. The award recognizes individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the profession within the previous two years in New Jersey.
Based in Dewberry’s Bloomfield, New Jersey, office, Sattur is a field technician who has been in the surveying industry for three years. She has completed her bachelor’s in land surveying, passed the land surveyor in training exam, passed the professional land surveyor (PLS) exam, and is preparing to take the New Jersey-specific exam for her PLS license. Prior to Dewberry, Sattur spent time in the title insurance industry reviewing title commitments and writing policies for property transactions spanning 49 states.
“This award reflects Megan’s dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence early in her surveying career,” says Dewberry Senior Vice President Tony Fulco, PE. “We are proud to have her on the team and look forward to supporting her continued growth and success.”
Sattur earned a bachelor’s degree in survey engineering technology from University of Maine (2025) and a bachelor's in merchandising management from the Fashion Institute of Technology (2014).
