Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced the promotion of two staff in its Denver, Colorado, office.
Jerri Daniels, CFM, has been promoted to vice president. She is the deputy task order manager for the FEMA region VIII production and technical services contract as part of the Strategic Alliance for Risk Reduction (STARR II) team. She manages federal, state, and local flood risk identification and floodplain management projects. Daniels has been in the consulting industry for more than 25 years and has been with Dewberry for more than 15 years.
Daniels earned a master’s degree in geography from the University of Alabama (2000) and a bachelor’s in biology-environmental science from Auburn University at Montgomery (1998). She is a member of the Association of Montana Floodplain Managers, American Society of Civil Engineers, Association of State Floodplain Managers, Colorado Association of Stormwater and Floodplain Managers, Louisiana Floodplain Management Association, Oklahoma Floodplain Management Association, and the Texas Floodplain Management Association.
Melinda Brown, PE, LEED AP BD+C, has been named associate vice president and serves as the deputy business unit manager for the firm’s Denver, Colorado, office. Brown is a water/wastewater engineer with experience designing, planning, hydraulic modeling, and management of civil, water, and wastewater pipeline and infrastructure projects, including expertise in sustainable practices and green building standards.
Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Colorado State University (2006). She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Water Works Association, and the U.S. Green Building Council.
