Jim Bennett, PE, has been promoted to vice president and serves as business unit manager for the firm’s Gainesville, Virginia, engineering and land surveying practice. He has over 40 years of experience in consulting, design services, and land development, and earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech (1982).

  • Aaron Cheskis, PE, DBIA, is a senior project engineer for the firm’s alternative delivery practice in Baltimore, Maryland, and has over 25 years of experience in transportation engineering. He earned a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of Michigan (1998) and a master’s in civil engineering from Virginia Tech (2003). Cheskis is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Highway Engineers.
  • Jerome Hall, based out of Dewberry’s Ashland, Virginia, office, serves as program manager with the design-build practice and has more than 30 years of construction management experience. He has a background in the electrical, commercial, industrial, and wireless industries.
  • David Weems, PE, is a principal engineer in the firm’s Leesburg, Virginia, office with nearly 40 years of experience in site/civil engineering for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. He earned a bachelor’s in civil engineering from North Carolina State University (1986) and is a member of the Engineers & Surveyors Institute (ESI).
