As the mentor, Dewberry will provide SurvTech with guidance on management and technical assistance, contracting, and business development processes. Dewberry will support SurvTech as they seek to grow in the federal market, by improving marketing processes and attracting new clients.

Under the agreement, the firms will partner and jointly pursue several important geospatial opportunities. Both firms have worked in the geospatial market for more than 20 years. Some of Dewberry’s federal geospatial clients include the U.S. Geological Survey, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, as well as various state/local and commercial clients.

“Our team is excited to partner with SurvTech to help guide them towards increasing their success in delivering geospatial and surveying services to their clients, while also growing their federal practice,” says Dewberry Senior Vice President and Operating Unit Manager Paul Dean. “We look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership that also gives our team an opportunity to support a small business.”

“At SurvTech, our goal is to provide a total mapping solution to our clients,” says SurvTech President and Co-Founder David O’Brien. “We’re excited to be under Dewberry’s mentorship as we aim to learn from their best practices to help move our business forward.”

The program will run for a duration of six years.
