Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced that Douglas (Doug) Pfeiffer, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB, will take on an additional leadership role as business unit manager for the firm’s Tulsa, Oklahoma, office. In doing so, Pfeiffer will maintain his position as business unit manager for the Peoria and Elmhurst, Illinois, offices. In this expanded role, he will continue to work alongside local office directors to serve clients in the community facilities, education, health and wellness, and justice market segments.
Pfeiffer has over 30 years of experience in architecture design with a background in managing, planning, and designing civic projects. In addition to his role as business unit manager, Pfeiffer also serves as the market segment leader for the firm’s community facilities practice.
“I’m excited for Doug to take on this expanded regional role,” says Dewberry Architects Inc. President Erica Nelles, AIA. “I look forward to how he and the office directors in Peoria, Elmhurst, and Tulsa will collaborate to continue growing our architectural practice, serving our clients, and supporting projects across the Midwest and Southwest.”
Pfeiffer earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Iowa State University (1993). He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
