Montgomery has more than 30 years of experience supporting federal agencies on large, complex projects. He has been involved with FEMA’s response and recovery programs for 20 years and has been responsible for the management of more than 475 task order assignments. Over the last nearly 20 years, Montgomery has supported more than 250 disaster operations across 28 states and U.S. territories.

In his new role, Montgomery will continue leading business development efforts related to disaster response and recovery for federal, state, local, and institutional clients, guiding the advancement of the firm’s disaster recovery service unit and building relationships across Dewberry’s operations and geographies to promote growth and business opportunities.

Mark has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from West Virginia University (1987) and is a member of the American Public Works Association (APWA), Project Management Institute (PMI), and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
