“Increased capacity and improved operations will support enhanced safety and quality of life for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians in Northern Virginia,” says Dewberry Senior Vice President and Business Unit Manager Steve Kuntz, PE, DBIA. “We are honored to have supported these critical improvements.”

The $313.9-million project was financed with federal, state, and local funds, including from Fairfax County and the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority. The corridor currently carries over 50,000 vehicles per day.
