Pedersen brings 20 years of experience in roadway design, traffic engineering, and project/program management. He recently served as a program manager for Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE), where he managed multiple high-profile projects and aided in the planning, management, and delivery of the FTE’s work program. In his new role with Dewberry, Pedersen will be responsible for long range planning, client service, business development, and talent acquisition efforts for the firm’s Florida transportation team.

Pedersen received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Central Florida (2003). He is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Florida (ACEC-FL), American Society of Highway Engineers Central Florida (ASHE), and the 2023 Florida Engineering Leadership Institute (FELI). Previously, Pedersen was involved with the International Bridge, Tunnel, and Turnpike Association (IBTTA) and Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS).
