Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced that Louis (Lou) Mammolette, PE, has joined the firm as a senior associate and department manager for the water group in its Boston, Mass., office.
Mammolette has more than 30 years of experience, most recently working for the city of Chelsea’s Department of Public Works as commissioner of public works and city engineer. He brings expertise in engineering, planning, design, and construction—particularly in municipal infrastructure with a focus on drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater. His professional background includes consulting, contracting, and the public sector.
Mammolette will be responsible for growth, client management, and service delivery of Dewberry’s water practice in Boston. He will also work to create new client relationships.

Mammolette earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (1989) and master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering (1993) from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. He is a member of the New England American Public Works Association, New England Water Environment Association where he was awarded the 2022 James J. Courchaine Collection Systems Award, and the New England Water Works Association.
