Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, announced that it has hired Jeff PeQueen, PE, as senior project engineer in its water practice, with an emphasis on stormwater site/civil design. PeQueen will be based in the firm’s Lakeland, Florida, office.
With more than 33 years of experience in the Florida
water market, PeQueen has worked on a variety of projects that provide
environmental benefits to Central Florida. He currently serves as the senior civil

through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Prior to joining Dewberry, PeQueen
worked as an associate senior project manager and lead civil engineer for another
design firm in Lakeland.
“Jeff’s engineering experience and creativity when
tackling Florida water resources needs is a tremendous asset to our growing Florida
water practice,” says Dewberry Associate and Market Segment Leader Amy Tracy.
“As the One Water approach to engineering continues due to the successes in our
natural environment through the use of integrated water management principles,
we’re looking forward to Jeff’s contributions to realize water resource and
environmental benefits in Florida.”
PeQueen earned a master’s in biomedical engineering from
the University of South Florida (2006), a master’s in environmental engineering
from the University of Florida (1991), and a bachelor’s in physics from Furman
