Dewberry’s primary project goals include:

  • Develop and implement a cohesive public transit solution as part of the economic development vision for the city to promote healthy and equitable communities
  • Bring together stakeholders and facilitate active discussions that solve mobility and accessibility issues
  • Create a roadmap for transit modes and technologies that lay the foundation for future public and private investment opportunities
  • Develop a sustainable operating plan based on realistic ridership forecasts, coupled with community-supported assessment options
  • Assist the project team with analysis of available technologies, determine routes and stop locations, conduct community outreach, develop conceptual designs and cost estimates, and determine overall feasibility for the transit corridor

“With such an increase in new development in the Anaheim Resort area and The Platinum Triangle, these multimodal transit improvements aim to expand mobility options for Anaheim residents, businesses, and visitors to provide a seamless, enjoyable experience for all and to support the economic vitality of the area,” says Dewberry’s national director of infrastructure Rachel Vandenberg, PE. “As Los Angeles prepares to host the 2028 Summer Olympics, we are thrilled to support neighboring Anaheim as they seek to improve their transportation infrastructure in anticipation of the increase in pedestrian, vehicle, and tourist traffic.”
