Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, announced that it has been selected by the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation (GCDOT), located in central Georgia, for an on-call contract to provide professional engineering services related to its sidewalks, multi-use paths, and bikeways.
As part of the contract,
the firm will provide additional capacity to GCDOT to help expand and
strengthen its transportation infrastructure through the delivery of their
Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) program and other capital
improvement projects.
“We are excited to be
providing transportation services to Gwinnett County,” says Dewberry Project
Manager Ken Timpson, PE. “Dewberry has been operating in the Atlanta area since
the opening of its local office in 1998, and we are looking forward to continuing
to support the physical well-being and safety of the community.”
