Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced that Maxwell Hardy, PE, has joined the firm as a structural engineer and project manager in Dewberry’s Rancho Cordova, California, office. He joins the firm to support its water/wastewater efforts.
Prior to joining Dewberry, Hardy worked in construction and engineering across the greater Sacramento area. Most recently, he worked for Carollo Engineers where he was the lead design structural engineer for three aquifer storage and recovery wells for the city of Roseville. Additionally, he served as lead designer for the $42-million American Valley Wastewater Treatment Plant improvement project in Quincy.
Hardy joins Dewberry with nearly 8 years of experience, and is responsible for leading the design of hydraulic and environmental structures, and growing the firm’s water/wastewater structural group in the west.

Hardy earned his bachelor’s in civil engineering from California State University Sacramento (2013). He is a member of the American Concrete Institute, American Water Works Association, and the Structural Engineers Association of Central California.
