Prior to joining Dewberry, Costello worked in commercial real estate business development throughout the greater Richmond area. Most recently, she served as business development manager for Gilbane Building Company, where she was responsible for lead generation, managing a $1-billion opportunity pipeline, client experience, and overseeing the proposal and presentation process. Costello joins Dewberry with more than 18 years of experience, and is responsible for the creation and execution of sales strategy and business development activities.

Costello earned a certificate in business administration from the University of Richmond (2016). In addition, Costello graduated from the LEAD Virginia program in 2019. She is a current board member for the Commercial Real Estate Women network and Storefront for Community Design, a member of the Virginia Commonwealth University Real Estate Circle of Excellence and the Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate, a member of both the investor relations and business development communities of the Greater Richmond Partnership, and a member of the local product council for the Urban Land Institute. Costello was the inaugural president of Women in Healthcare, Central Virginia Chapter.
