Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced that Amanda Schlichting, AIA, has been recognized by the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce with the Professional and Community Engagement (PACE) Award. The PACE award is designed to recognize and celebrate exceptional young professionals in Danville and Pittsylvania County who have made significant contributions to the region through professional achievements and community involvement.
Schlichting has more than six years of experience with a background in architectural designs for new construction and renovation projects, including those in the commercial, industrial, and education markets. She earned her bachelor’s degree in architecture from Virginia Tech (2015) and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and Rotary International.
“Amanda has been an instrumental member of our team since she joined us in 2015,” says Dewberry Associate Principal Larry Hasson, AIA, LEED AP. “Her dedication to the community of Danville and Pittsylvania County is apparent in her commitment to her work.”
