Dewberry announced that it has been selected by the National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to help rebuild, enhance, and optimize the
Coastal and Marine Management Program (CAMMP). The program was developed by
NOAA’s Office of Coastal Management (OCM) to allow applicants to prepare and
download a formatted document that can be uploaded to the grants.gov system.
Dewberry’s services include creating a modern
development approach to meet NOAA’s goal of optimizing CAMMP. The firm is using
agile and lean interface design to draw out consensus on development features
and works within a three-tiered development environment. Upon completion of the
project, the CAMMP application will be modernized and will support advanced
features, including multi-year grant applications, responsive user-interface/user-experience
(UI/UX) design, and a fully documented data model. Furthermore, CAMMP will be
designed for easier and quicker use, and will support backend data queries
allowing NOAA to gather program metrics more simply.
