Dewberry has announced the promotion of nearly 60 employees nationwide, including Jake
Lesue, PE, CFM, who is located in the Dallas, Texas, office, and has been
promoted to associate. Lesue’s promotion coincides with Dewberry's ongoing
expansion of engineering, architectural, and consulting services in Texas.
Lesue, a senior project manager in the resilience
solutions group, has been with Dewberry for nearly seven years. He serves as the
project manager for several engineering projects for Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA) Region VI under the Risk Assessment, Mapping, and
Planning (RiskMAP) program. Lesue also manages several other projects for local
clients in the Dallas-Fort Worth region of Texas, and in Louisiana. He has more
than 17 years of technical and managerial experience in water resources
planning, site development, storm drain design and analysis, dam breach
analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic engineering and analysis, and geographic
information system (GIS) mapping and analysis.
Lesue earned a master’s and bachelor’s degree in
civil engineering from Brigham Young University (2003), and is a member of the
Association of State Floodplain Managers, Association of State Dam Safety
Officials, Louisiana Floodplain Management Association, Texas Floodplain
Management Association, and the Texas Society of Professional Engineers.
