Dewberry announced that the firm has been awarded a master services agreement for the replacement of the water distribution system at Tyndall Air Force Base (TAFB) near Panama City, Florida.
Dewberry, which has held five recent contracts
with TAFB and has performed Air Force installation projects for more than 40
years, was selected to provide professional site/civil engineering services
related to damages sustained to the water distribution system during Hurricane
Michael. Additionally, the firm will provide services related to the overall design,
operation, and maintenance of the water distribution system.
“The damage sustained during Hurricane Michael
was widespread across Florida’s panhandle, with no exception to TAFB,” says
Dewberry Vice President Cliff Wilson, PE. “Considering all the critical
services that come out of the base, we’re thankful to have the opportunity to
support them in their efforts to keep operations running smoothly so they can
effectively serve our nation.”
Dewberry is a proud member of the Tyndall
community with more than 130 staff members across its seven offices located
along the Florida panhandle, including Panama City and Port St. Joe.
