Dewberry is pleased to announce the promotion of transportation department manager Don Hammack, PE, to vice president in the firm's Orlando, Florida, office.

With more than three decades of experience, Hammack's background includes alternative development, preliminary and final designs, preparation of construction documents, construction inspection, and field engineer assignments. His projects have ranged from minor improvements to complex highway interchanges. Hammack has managed numerous award-winning projects, including the State Road 417 Interchange Improvements at Boggy Creek Road contract and the John Young Parkway extension in central Florida.

Hammack earned a master's degree in business administration from DeVry University's Keller Graduate School of Business (2006) and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Old Dominion University (1985). He is an active member in the Florida Engineering Society and the Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers.
