Dewberry employees Ileana Ivanciu, vice president for environmental services, Timothy Belcher, manager of roadway and interchange design projects, Cerasela M. Cristei, project manager, and Steven Eget, group manager, will be presenting and moderating at the Transportation Research Board's (TRB) 91st annual meeting to be held January 22 through 26, 2012, in Washington, D.C.

  • Ivanciu will preside over a panel session entitled "Can Transportation and Public Health Be Compatible? Considering Health in Transportation Decisions" at 8 a.m. on January 25.
  • Belcher will present on "Using the Easement Assignment Process for Efficient Utility Relocation of a Locally Administered Project" at 1:30 p.m. on January 24.
  • Cristei will present on "Using Cumulative Logistic Regression Model for Evaluating Bicycle Facilities on Urban Arterials" at 10:45 a.m. on January 23.
  • Eget will present on "Green Infrastructure Lessons Learned and Best Practices" at 10:15 a.m. on January 25.
Illeana Ivanciu, PG

Ileana S. Ivanciu, PG, is a vice president at Dewberry. For more than two decades, she has supported state departments of transportation, transit agencies, highway agencies, and local governments with capital improvements and environmental management. An active industry professional, Ivanciu participates in organizations including the Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) and the Transportation Research Board (TRB). She chairs the American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey's Environment Committee. In addition, Ivanciu has lectured extensively for the transportation industry on the subject of environmental impact studies and analysis.

Timothy Belcher, PE

Timothy Belcher, PE, is a manager of roadway and interchange design projects with Dewberry's Mid-Atlantic infrastructure engineering services group. He has ten years of experience in design and project management for a variety of public and private clients. Belcher is a board member with the Potomac Section of the American Society of Highway Engineers and serves on the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Utilities Committee.

Cerasela M. Cristei, PhD, PE

Cerasela M. Cristei, Ph.D, PE, is a project manager at Dewberry. She has 20 years of engineering experience in all phases of land development, and is the author or co-author of several publications on urban street design as part of her studies at George Mason University. Cristei is a Professional Engineer in Virginia.

Steve Eget, PE, CEM

Steven Eget, PE, CEM, is a group manager at Dewberry. He has a diverse environmental compliance background spanning air quality, renewable energy project development, energy efficiency studies, Clean Water Act compliance, lead and asbestos-related assignments, and OSHA/Health & Safety programs, as well as site investigation and remediation services. Eget is a Professional Engineer in New Jersey and New York, a Certified Energy Manager, and an active member on the Transportation Research Board (TRB) committee on Hazardous Waste and Resource Efficiency in Transportation.
