Dewberry has announced the promotion of nearly 60 employees nationwide, including three staff members in its Gulf Coast offices. The promotions coincide with Dewberry's ongoing expansion of engineering, architectural, and consulting services in the Southeast, where the firm has practiced since 1975.

The promotions include the following:

  • Jason Estes, PE, has been promoted to associate vice president and has nearly three decades of experience. As business unit manager for the Daphne, Alabama, office, Estes oversees a team of nearly 25 employees who represent site/civil engineering, surveying, and environmental services. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Auburn University (1993).
  • Eric Pitts and Dina Bautista, PE, CFM, have been promoted to associate. Pitts is a construction manager in the Panama City, Florida, office and manages 14 field supervisors covering a 16-county area in the Gulf Coast. He has nearly 20 years of experience and is a member of Rotary International. With more than 12 years of experience, Bautista is a senior project manager in the site/civil department, and is located in the firm’s Port St. Joe, Florida, office. She has experience in civil design projects for commercial and municipal clients, including environmental, permitting, and utility design. Bautista earned two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Missouri (2005), one in environmental engineering and another in biology. She is a member of the Association of State Floodplain Managers and the Florida Floodplain Managers Association.
