Dewberry has announced the promotion of three professionals in its Illinois offices located in Elgin and Peoria. The promotions coincide with Dewberry's ongoing expansion of architectural and engineering services within the region.

  • Brian Meade, AIA, the firm's national public safety facility segment leader and design director for the Elgin, Illinois, office, was promoted to principal.

  • Nicholas Harden, SE, LEED AP, an assistant department manager in the structural engineering group in the Peoria office, was promoted to associate. Harden earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (2003). He is a licensed structural engineer in Illinois, and a professional engineer in Alabama, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. Harden is a LEED accredited professional.

  • Michael McTavish, PE, LEED AP, was promoted to associate. McTavish is an assistant business unit manager in the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural group for the Midwest and is based in the Peoria office. McTavish earned his bachelor's degree in architectural engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (2004), and is a licensed professional engineer in Alabama, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin. He is a LEED accredited professional.
