Dewberry has hired Clinton O. Amey, PE, CPESC, CD, as a senior project engineer in the firm's Pittsburgh and Carlisle, Pennsylvania, offices.

Amey will provide engineering and project management support for land development, telecommunications, transportation, and energy infrastructure projects. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in the civil engineering industry to the Dewberry team. His expertise includes transportation engineering, highway and drainage design, stormwater management, erosion and sediment pollution control, grading, traffic control, utility coordination, construction sequencing, and highway occupancy permitting.

During Amey's previous tenure with Dewberry, as a CAD drafter and highway designer, he was involved in projects for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and various private clients including bridge rehabilitations, highway and intersection improvements, land development, and telecommunications projects across Pennsylvania.

He earned his bachelor's degree in natural sciences area with a focus in geology from the University of Pittsburgh, his associate's degree in computer aided drafting and design from York Technical Institute, and his associate's degree in civil technology from the Harrisburg Area Community College. Amey is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania, a certified professional in erosion and sediment control, and a certified drafter. He is a member of the American Design Drafting Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Soil and Water Conservation Society. He is also a volunteer observer and Allegheny County coordinator for the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow Network.
