Dewberry has announced that two architects in the firm's Tulsa, Oklahoma, office have received Honor Awards from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Eastern Oklahoma chapter. Bruce Henley, AIA, DBIA, LEED AP, was awarded the 2015 Community Service Award, and Jonathan Crump, AIA, LEED AP, was awarded the 2015 Distinguished Service Award.

With more than 30 years of architectural experience and community service efforts, Bruce Henley was recognized for making a difference in the community through his commitment, leadership, and volunteer work. Henley joined [the] Tulsa Habitat for Humanity (THFH) Board in 2011 and was elected president of the 2014 board of directors. He led Dewberry's Tulsa office volunteer efforts with the THFH Blitz Build by contributing to the construction of eight houses for eight families in 16 days. The firm's Tulsa staff, along with family and friends, volunteered a total of 149.5 hours in one day for this single event. While serving as chair, he led the local AIA chapter design competition for a new THFH house plan that will be built for the first time this spring.

Jonathan Crump was recognized for his involvement and implementation of the AIA Eastern Oklahoma Chapter's Architects Registration Exam (ARE) Study Program. His efforts increased the number of licensed architects in the Tulsa area. Crump is currently serving as the president-elect for the 2016 board of directors.
