Dewberry, a national professional services firm, has been recognized for its work on the Fort Hamilton Armed Forces Reserve Center with the Silver Award in the building and technology systems category from the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York.

As lead designer for The Pike Company’s design-build team, Dewberry was responsible for the design of multiple facilities at the Fort Hamilton Army Base in Brooklyn, New York. This $56 million project, completed for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers under the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) program, included a new 123,000-square-foot Armed Forces Reserve Center, a 3,500-square-foot maintenance training building, three storage sheds, and a truck wash, in addition to all associated site and utility work on the nine-acre site. As a subconsultant to Dewberry, di Domenico + Partners provided architectural services.
