Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, recently hired Jonathan Crump, AIA, LEED AP, as design director in the firm's Tulsa, Oklahoma, office. His new responsibilities will include providing design leadership and coordination on projects.

With more than 25 years of experience in architecture, Crump's extensive portfolio includes K-12 and higher education projects, as well as special event facilities, fine arts centers, early childhood centers, libraries, laboratories, and commercial buildings.

Prior to Dewberry, Crump served as a higher education principal at Leo A Daly, working on a range of projects, including the University of Minnesota's Institute for Mathematics and the Active Learning Classrooms addition at Century College in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

Over the years, Crump has established strong relationships with clients through his design solutions that focus on the clients' primary goals. These design goals are developed through a process of listening and facilitating discussions with a variety of stakeholders, which ultimately leads to the development of unique architectural form that reflects both the clients' values and vision.

Crump holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from North Dakota State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Society for College and University Planning, and the Council of Educational Facility Planners International. Crump has been published in Architectural Record and American School & University, among other publications.
