State Road 0061 Section 14M Virtual Plans Display

Tilden Township, Berks County

Welcome to our virtual plans display webpage!

PennDOT District 5-0 is inviting the public to attend this virtual meeting to solicit feedback from the public regarding PennDOT’s preliminary design, environmental/historic resources in the area, and any other concerns. The meeting will run for two weeks starting on Wednesday, November 11, until Wednesday, November 25.

Work on the project will begin just north of the I-78/PA-61 interchange and will terminate at the bridge over the Schuylkill River. The roadway will be milled, and the underlying concrete pavement repaired, prior to the replacement of a new asphalt overlay. A concrete mountable curb, guide rail, or concrete glare screen will be installed in the median throughout the corridor. Accompanying pedestrian, signal, guide rail, drainage, and shoulder upgrades will also occur. The project is expected to begin in the summer of 2024.

The public is encouraged to read the documents below which include a project description, project mapping, and frequently asked questions. All documents are in PDF format. Most importantly, please take time to complete the survey form. Since we are meeting virtually, this is our best way to get your feedback and answer any specific questions you may have. You can submit the form electronically or print it and mail using USPS. All survey forms must be completed and returned by Wednesday, November 25.
