As part of the LIRR's overall strategy to improve access to their transit stations in southeast Queens, two new elevators were constructed at the Queens Village station. This upgrade makes it possible for riders with physical disabilities to obtain service to Manhattan and eastern Long Island that was previously inaccessible. In addition to modifying the station for ADA accessibility, a number of associated site, station, and platform improvements were made to reduce maintenance cost, improve station branding, and provide a better overall experience for customers. Some of these improvements included new railings, waiting room renovations, a shelter shed, tactile warning, security cameras, and new lighting.

Our services included overall design project management, structural, geotechnical, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering.
