Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced the promotion of nearly 60 employees nationwide, including five staff members within the firm’s Denver and Greenwood Village, Colorado, offices. The promotions coincide with Dewberry's ongoing expansion of engineering, architectural, and consulting services in the West, where the firm has practiced since 2007.

These five employees were promoted to senior associate:

  • Christian Marsh-Frydenlund, CEM, is a senior project manager in the firm’s design-build practice and is based in Denver. She develops and executes design-build facility optimization projects for federal, municipal, and industrial clients. Marsh-Frydenlund earned a master’s degree in engineering and technology management (2003) and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (2002), both from the Colorado School of Mines. She is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers, the Building Commissioning Association, and the Society of American Military Engineers.
  • Jennifer Novac, GISP, is a senior quality manager in the geospatial and technology services group and is based in Denver. She provides technical support, guidance, and training on projects, and oversees all tools, methods, and processes used on lidar and interferometric synthetic aperture radar (IFSAR) elevation data. Novac earned her bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Indiana University (2006), and is a member of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS).
  • Joshua Novac, GISP, is a senior geospatial technology manager in the geospatial and technology service group and specializes in geographic information systems (GIS), photogrammetry, lidar, and IFSAR. He is based in Denver. Novac earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Indiana University (2006) and is a member of ASPRS.
  • Chad Weaver, PE, is a project engineer and project manager in the water group out of Denver, and his experience includes planning, condition assessment, and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, water distribution and transmission mains, and sewer collection systems. He earned his master’s (2012) and bachelor’s (2006) degrees in environmental engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a member of the American Water Works Association.
  • Andy Kioko, PE, is a senior project manager in the firm’s site/civil group and is based in the Greenwood Village office. His experience ranges from municipal, to state and local, to federal projects, including water distribution, wastewater collection systems, site layout and road design, site grading, stormwater management, floodplain modeling, and construction management. Kioko earned a master’s in global development and social justice from St. John’s University (2015) and a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of Notre Dame (2004).
