Dewberry recently announced the promotion of more than 65 employees nationwide, including two staff members within the firm’s Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, office. The promotions coincide with Dewberry’s ongoing expansion of engineering, environmental, and consulting services in Pennsylvania, where the firm has practiced since the early 1990s.

  • Curtis Sanno, PE, CBSI, has been promoted to associate vice president and serves as the business unit manager of the Mechanicsburg office. He has extensive experience in structural engineering, and has worked on numerous bridge projects with technical expertise in preliminary design as well as preparation of final plans, specifications, and estimates for bridge elements. Sanno earned his bachelor’s in civil engineering from the Pennsylvania State University (2002), is a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation-certified bridge safety inspector, and is a professional engineer in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. He was named a 2019 Top Young Professional by ENR Mid-Atlantic, and currently serves on the board of directors of the American Society of Highway Engineers, Harrisburg chapter. He’s also a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association, Association for Bridge Construction and Design, and American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). Sanno serves as a member on the ACEC/PA alternative delivery committee and ACEC/PA quality task force committee.
  • Mark Geiser, PE, has been promoted to senior associate. An assistant highway department manager and senior project manager, Geiser has extensive experience in the preliminary and final design of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission highway projects. He earned his bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (1993) and is a professional engineer in Pennsylvania. Geiser serves on the golf tournament committees for local chapters of the American Society of Highway Engineers and American Council of Engineering Companies raising funds for annual scholarships.
