Dewberry announced that Kevin Pennock, PE, LEED AP, has been hired as an associate and senior project manager in the land planning and development department.

With more than two decades of experience, Pennock joins the firm to help expand its land planning and site/civil design service offerings for education, government, economic development, and commercial clients. In his previous role with a large consulting firm in central Virginia, Pennock served as a senior project manager where he played an integral role for 17 years as an engineer and manager of site development projects. While in this position, Pennock worked on numerous noteworthy projects, including the Multi-Purpose Center at Virginia State University. Since joining Dewberry, Pennock is working on various projects across the region, including an infill parking lot for the city of Richmond, which sits adjacent to historic sites.

Pennock earned a master's in urban planning from Virginia Commonwealth University (2008), a bachelor's in civil engineering from Virginia Tech (1997), and is a member of the Greater Virginia Green Building Council.
