Dewberry has announced the promotions of Brian Meade, AIA, LEED AP, and Dustin O'Brien, AIA, to principal, and Jonathan Crump, AIA, LEED AP, to associate principal.

Brian Meade is the firm's national public safety facility segment leader and design director for the firm's Elgin, Illinois, office. He has more than 22 years of architecture experience, including programming, planning, and design of municipal facilities and public safety projects. Meade obtained his bachelor's (1993) and master's (1995) degrees in architecture from the University of Illinois. He is a registered architect in Illinois, a LEED accredited professional, and a member of the American Institute of Architects, Association of Licensed Architects, and the International Association of Chiefs of Police.

Dustin O'Brien is the business unit director of the firm's Houston, Texas, office and has more than 15 years of architecture experience, including planning and design of medical facilities, exterior and interior renovations, corporate offices, educational institutions, and laboratories. He earned his master's in architecture from Texas Tech University (2003). O'Brien is a registered architect in Texas, and a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

Jonathan Crump is the firm's national design director, based in the Elgin, Illinois office. He has more than 33 years of architecture experience, including planning, design, and construction of civic and educational facilities. Crump earned his bachelor's degree in architecture from North Dakota State University (1984). He is a registered architect in Minnesota and Oklahoma and is a LEED accredited professional. Crump is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
