Monopine Site

Hiding Prime Telecom Services in a Monopole
Francestown, New Hampshire

The small community of Francestown in southern New Hampshire needed improved wireless service provided in an unobtrusive manner. To suit the town’s needs, we designed a 110-foot-tall monopine macro site, a camouflaged artificial tree tower used to conceal telecom equipment in a natural setting.

To garner community support for the project, we coordinated balloon floats and provided photo simulations, which allowed town officials and the community to visualize the finished product. We also supervised soil borings to deliver a geotechnical report, coordinated construction stakeouts, and inspected both the access road and tower foundation constructions.
