Jack Evans Police Headquarters

A Catalyst for Revitalization
Dallas, Texas

1,350

staff members accommodated in facility

Set two blocks south of the Central Business District in downtown Dallas, the six-story Jack Evans Police Headquarters has spurred new development and been hailed as "a major step in providing a helping hand to a struggling neighborhood." The complex houses the city's police department, which had previously been scattered throughout 17 different buildings. The design of the building acknowledges its historic warehouse district location, and is compatible with planned residential growth in the area. A bridge connects the building to an existing 1,200-car parking structure.
