The new Inwood Athletic Club in Joliet, Illinois, is a two-story, 60,300-square-foot addition along the south side of the existing Inwood Ice Arena. We provided a master plan and architectural design services for the project, which includes a new entrance, lobby, administrative offices, multipurpose rooms, fitness area, an eight-lane, 25-yard indoor lap pool with a whirlpool, lockers/showers with steam rooms, and a three-lane walking/jogging track. Remodeling on the first floor included new floors, painting, and mechanical improvements to the ice arena.
