HSEEP-Compliant Exercise

Training for a Disaster Event
Alabama and Pennsylvania
We designed the exercise to facilitate team member collaboration as well as implementation of policies and procedures in support of a local jurisdiction’s response to an emergency incident.

For three consecutive years we supported a Regional Type 3 Incident Management Team with customized design, development, application, and evaluation of their annual HSEEP-compliant, functional exercise—conducted to evaluate response readiness to complex emergency incidents.

Each exercise established a learning environment for the team to exercise and evaluate their plans and procedures, as well as provided training for team members to further their experience in their assigned roles. Each exercise was constructed to facilitate team operations over two and a half days. Emergency scenarios included a large-scale construction incident on an urban hospital campus, a biological attack, and tornado weather event.
