Assisting DHS’s Geospatial Management Office, we are developing a Geospatial Concept of Operations (GeoCONOPS) under subcontract to Booz Allen. The GeoCONOPS is a multi-year effort focused on supporting emergency management activities under the National Response Framework. Our project life cycle includes building the initial framework of common event types to addressing the full emergency management practices of preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation. Currently, the GeoCONOPS is being expanded to include a heightened role of the federal response community during catastrophic disasters.
