Founders Square South MEP Systems

MEP Design with Three LEED Submissions
Arlington, Virginia

For the 350,000-square-foot Founder's Square South office building and 250,000-square-foot parking garage, we designed the base building and secure government agency tenant interiors project to include highly efficient MEP systems. These systems include low temperature chilled water and air systems, resulting in lower construction costs and energy usage.

N+1

redundancy MEP systems

We designed the MEP systems for N+1 redundancy and to function during emergency conditions, allowing the tenant to continue their operations in an emergency event. The base building portion of the project is certified LEED® Gold Core and Shell and the tenant portion of the project was designed for LEED Gold New Construction and LEED Platinum Commercial Interiors.
