At the federal level, in addition to updating a COOP plan and a pandemic influenza annex, we converted plan content to an easy-to-use guide of deployment information to take when a COOP plan was implemented. The guide was so well received, it was distributed nationally. It contains details of team components, roles and responsibilities, succession information, emergency notification systems, emergency relocation site, and devolution information. We also developed logistical support checklists to enable the logistics team to quickly see what was needed to be operational. Updates to the COOP Plan conformed to Federal Continuity Directive 1 and 2 and other federal requirements.
