We provide the City of Danville, Virginia, with monitoring and remediation services at the city's closed and unlined landfill. By engaging a series of monitoring methods, we control, detect, and prevent environmental issues involving groundwater and methane gas exceedances. We designed the installation of an active extraction system for groundwater remediation that captures contamination plumes and pumps them to a wastewater treatment plant. This extraction system is the first of its kind in Southside Virginia.
