10%

project cost reduction

When we converted two natural grass fields to synthetic turf, we planned for increased stormwater runoff rates by using the subsurface as an underground pond. This progressive stormwater management solution reduced project costs by approximately 10 percent, mitigated flooding, reduced pollutants in stormwater runoff, increased groundwater recharge, and incorporated a porous paving application that allows the town to seek credits with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services.
